California Cliffs

Here is some info for California cliffs. It is best fished 2hrs before and after high tide as there is a sand bar about 30-40yds out, cast just beyond for best results, Flatties a good bet, may be a chance of a bass and in the winter codling and whiting. Bait used Mackerel, Squid, Blow lug.

Fished the tide up from 0900 till 1530, High tide 12.30, between groyne 29 and groyne 30, Eastoke beach, Rigs 2 hook clip down. and a 1 hook up and over, Caught 3 Gurnard and 1 schoolie, bait King rag and squid cocktail, weather overcast with showers, sorry no pictures as it was raining when I caugh...

Hi all, Went out on Reecer with a party of 9, Fishing was very slow and the water was so coloured and quite a tide ripping. We all caught some mackerel but not in great quantities, a few Codling were caught biggest was about 3 1/2 Lbs, a couple red Gurnards and a LSD and some whiting. Tried for some...
