I would buy from a tackle shop so you can see and compare with other rods & reels. in regards to make that I believe to be individual choice BUT I swear by Daiwa. the casting oz will depend on the fishing you will be doing rock, pier ruff ground, beach ect or all rounder if for exsample you are goin...

I just wanted to ask if there is a certern brand of hooks that are considered the best hooks to use for sea fishing. I ask this because the hooks I recently bourght seam to go blunt very quick. all advice welcomed and appreciateted.
