I live about an hour from the river humber and its fouder fishing all year round. Seems theres loads up here but not so many anymore Portsmouth way. Miss the days of fishing Langstone(budds wall) as a kid.

From what i have read is there public access to where you fish? If there is then they cant chuck you off that bit. If no public access exists then unfortunately you have no right to be on the land.

Great time of year for stokes bay. Did advise someone the other week about that spot, one of my favorite spots for bites this time of year. A few years ago a 15lb cod was caught from there too :D

Try a night tide mate. A 10 or 11pm tide around a 4.1 or below is ideal ;) Fish it from 5-6pm upwards. Failing that theres a boat club near stokes bay, fish that near the ramp. Had loads of dab and whiting from that spot ;) Two rods on a night tide(fish tides of 4.4-4.6) 3 hours before and 2 hours d...

Sorry for the late reply. I tend to fish that venue on a night tide as i found it more productive. Bait wise would be squid and lug and ragworm for this time of year. Rig wise a 3 hook paternoster for rag tipped with squid and a 1 hook pulley rig for the bigger species that can come there. Hope that...

What an amazing venue for those that can be bothered to walk it ;) . Throws up so many different species. My choice of tide was anything under a 4.2m as the tow was unreal. Used to love having one rod in short and one cast right out 100 yards +. Good to see the venue still producing the fish, but al...

The forum is easy to navigate to be honest. All the areas on the left hand side, so its self explanatory. Even when this site was busy we never had a welcome section. Like i said before by all means pm Mrix as hes the only one that can add sections to the forum.

Good idea but not sure if it's necessary at this present time. All new members can navigate to there residing area and put a post in there. Then people from that area can welcome them(also other members from other area's) and help out with any advice. By all means PM Mrix, but this is my opinion ;)
