To be honest I have not heard of a Codling over 4lb being caught in the past 5 years on Anglesey. My tip would be don't waste your time going for the Cod. Plenty of Dogs, Whiting, Pout and Pollack within 40 yards. Remember you will find Bass in the shallows looking for Crab rain or shine.
