I saw that a while ago on Total fishing, they used it in norway and caught fish after fish! i will be interesting to see how you get on, keep us posted!

Thanks for the repplies, getting a penn powerstix hopefully this week, so i will enquire for a cheap spinning rod and reel, dont want to move away from beach fishing, but it'll give me something else to do, sitting out on a harbour on a lovely summers evening!

High tide was around half 9 i think, got there and set up about 6, quite a big surf, first cast in my line snapped, re tied next line rebaited cast again, reeled it in about 15minutes later, and my weight has caught the line that i prevously snapped, so i got that back which was unbelievably lucky! ...

Hopefully going to pagham or a beach near there, didnt have any luck on my last session, what would be a good fish/fishes to be aiming for? and what bait and rigs would you suggest?
