Tbh I don't think it'd have found it's way on to my hook, it strikes me as one of those products they'd lap up in the US (no disrespect to any Americans!)?

maybe they should stick to making line etc

Hi there, I can't quite speak from experience regarding shore stuff on the Fife side but I've fished the Forth from a boat plenty. There is a good mark directly out about 1/2 a mile from Granton, it's supposed to be a hole/ledge?....the best way to find it from your side might be to line yourself up...
