Hi Peter, I enjoyed it myself mate and I know Weegi was gutted that he was working the next day! Only downside as you say was the lack of water at one point, there's normally a metre or more of water off the edge at low tide but I hadn't accounted for the very low spring tide...dOh! :D Called GAC ab...

Out for part of Wednesday night without much success at all I'm afraid, nothing to speak of anyway :(( However, Pter, myself & Weegi (till about 2200z'ish?) went out last night but armed with very near every bait known to man & fish lol Due to the big spring tides, a mark that is usually a couple of...

Well I don't know how it's looking where you guys are, other than from what I see online, but we're currently getting very strong winds which are reported to subside after midweek? :D However, when I woke this morning the rain was literally bouncing 6"-8" off the ground & remained that way for a cou...

Thanks for that eccles ;) I got a load of blow lug mixed with blacks pumping on Friday, mostly all were used on Friday night but enough left to consider freezing until learning you couldn't. Yes, they look different to blacks, not sure what is considered a large blowlug but some of these were maybe ...

TKR 28mm Working Great!

Hi there, Since my last post my new 28mm TKR pump has arrived, it came on Thursday, just a couple of days after placing my order. I'd asked for a slightly longer 900mm total length opposed to the standard 850mm too so that's quick :) Luckily it was low tide only a few hours after it arrived giving m...

No probs Steve, Ironically, I received a couple of packs of frozen peelers in amongst a bait pack yesterday Been starting to make a wee stockpile of frozen ones for the coming winter ;) Hermits seem to becoming more popular huh?......whether that's an indication that there's less peelers than there ...

You may have found somewhere by now but if not try Online Baits, they have a wide range of crabs and other baits both live or frozen

Just tell em when you want em delivered for seven quid which is pretty good I think

Cheers, Andy

Well I'm not sure if I should've got the 30mm x 850mm Alvey pump or not but have taken the plunge and ordered a 28mm x 900mm TKR pump. Got a decent deal with the length customisation being free anyway and a couple of spare washer/service kits....it'll doubt end up with a silicon seal in the end thou...
