It's definitely worth a go mick! However the arms can be a nightmare at weekends! Sometimes you are better on the beach! The Sunday we were there about 5 people out the 6 on the beach I saw had at least 12+ plaice each!

Was out again from Bradwell with John rawle yesterday. Left the marina at 7 and was fishing by 8:30. The cod was taken on unwashed squid, same as the skate! Is a nice size however I have donated it to my dad as i am allergic to fish :( sounds funny being a keen fisherman but have to deal with it!

signed it as although it is a 140 mile round trip it is one of my local beach spots! great fishing for whiting, dabs, bass in the summer and obviously the winter cod!!! :) would be such a shame if they were to close it!

Reports of codling to around 3lb coming off folkestone pier already! not many but still they are showing which is a good sign :)

Phil has always managed to find the fish somehow! We were fishing the same mark as you as he said he had fished it for 3 or 4 days but yesterday was his last day there and he is moving somewhere else today. Well done on your trip aswell!
