The biggest plaice caught on the holderness coast was caught by a german visitor using ordinary garden worm, and i know some top match anglers now and then use a few garden worms during club matches.. Just heard from a few friends that they'd loads of dead smoothies and tope including a 4ft specimen on the beaches south of Hornsea..

Has they is no dead cod or bass it can only be one thing!

Well done Roy, tried to fish spurn Friday evening but the strong easterly winds made it hard, but I said to my mate after hearing a few cod being caught at spurn and old hall in the last few weeks! That it could produce a late run of cod!! Again well done you are expert on fishing spurn point ;) ;) ...

This time of year on the bigger tides I like hornsea north! plenty of bites and always seem to get alot of differnt species.
Dimmo and easington are still producing some cod along with skate and doggies....

wind direction is very important in fishing mate, a easterly wind is best for east coast if fishable, will bring more fish in ;)
