That would be great John away next week to loch Etive then have a day on the don & and a day on the Devron try for Salmon will give you a shout later on.

John, I am sinilar to yourself been a freshwater fisherman since I could and but unfortunatley I am only half the retirement age so still a few years to go before I get my boat! Sea fishing can be enjoyable as long as you find the right place I think and Its a great way to get away from the boss for...

We had a day like that last year three of us took over 200 in one day but would recommend Loch Fyne only 20mins up the road and you have a chance of catching something other than maccys!

Too windy to take the boat out on Saturday so headed for the old pier just left of the Quarry had two nice Pollock one of three pound and one at five! Was busy a mark and other guys had fish aswell maccys, more pollack and a surprize small monkfish which was returned!

LOCH ETIVE INFO NEEDED?

Looking to book a boat on Loch Etive first week in August fished out of Oban on a charter before but not on Loch Etive. Just looking for any marks or Info to head for with the boat? also any Info on rigs bait ect that are effective would help also?

FURNACE - LOCH FYNE - INFO NEEDED?

I have booked a boat for the 17th of this month leaving from Furnace on Loch Fyne. I have only ever fished from the shore on Loch Fyne and I am looking for some Info or good marks I should head to with the boat??

Any Info Is much appreciated!!

MisInformed a think fished for nine hoursd off the boat had 8 maccys and nothing ealse!!

Usually go up her once or twice a year missed the Mackeral last year just wondering If anyone has been up and If the Mackeral are in yet??
