You can get bread flies, tied with white deer hair, usually used for carp fly fishing, bait up with bread and land your fly in the middle. I've never had mullet on the fly, but have heard it's the nearest thing to bone fish that you'll get over here.

differance between F/S & Multi Rods

Hi all,

I've been looking at getting a beachcaster, and I have noticed that some rods are advertised as rods for fixed spool, and rods for multiplyer reels, I was wonderining what the diffrence's were so I don't buy the wrong type, as I have a fixed spool reel.

Many thanks

Rory

Doubling up

Hi all,

Can I double up my 18lb main line to use as a shock leader for 4oz weights, or would I be better off buying some 40lb line for shock leaders

mackerel in rivers???

Hi all this is my first post as I am a complete newbie to sea fishing, so not sure if this a stupid question or not, do mackerel come into the rivers and if so how far up do they tend to go?

Thanks
