Hi All,

I brought mine from Kayaks and Paddles. If you order online in January you can get 15% discount. I went for the Noman Feelfree which is excellent.

Hi Waggoner, I,m not an expert but now is a good time for Bass. Cast just beyond the breakers using any bait. West Bexington is good in the evening at high tide. Mackerel are moving out now. Autumn and earley winter are one of the best times for Whiting and Codling. Night fishing is best. Again, Che...

Bass fishing

Hi all, After many frustrating years of Bass fishing, catching very little, i am finaly getting more confident and catching fish. There are three reasons for this confidence. Firstly, i brought a sea fishing kayak. This means that I can fish more and better locations, tides dont seem to matter, and ...

I fished at Budleigh for three hours last Saturday. Not much about I'm afraid. The mackerel have gone out to deeper water. However, with this thundery weather, I'm sure they will be back in soon. A few small pollock and the odd Bass have been caught. Good luck.

Wrasse

Do you use bait or spinners for Wrasse . I've never considered catching them because you cannot eat them (or can you ?).

Report

Hi All, BFS again. Well, I did'nt catch anything on Saturday. Conditions not great with a low tide and a May bloom. However it was still fantastic paddling about on a lovely flat sea in the sunshine. I did talk to another kayak fisherman who said it is best to fish the rocks and kelp beds on the rig...

Is anything being caught

Thinking of going kayak fishing at Sea Town this Saterday(22.5.10). Has anyone had much success lately with regard to Mackerel or Bass.

Regards.

I feel the same as you about litter dropping. Not sure where Hopes nose is. I always go mackerel fishing at Sea Town near Bridport. Beautiful beach with cliffs. Has large car park and pub. Catching fish is just a bonus
