I know that area very well and I dont think there is access to the water unless that market is on. The area is very secure, lots of CCTV and patrols as there is a lot of industrial/warehouse/storage areas. But the article was very specific about "dagenham dock" unless there is more than one!

On my own this Christmas as the ex has the kids. I was thinking of nipping out for a few hours with the rods. Obviously no chance of any bait and nothing frozen so any ideas what to use; tin of sardines maybe?
