Hi all,
Just moved back to hull and as the wind has now dropped I'm planning tomorrow to be my first trip fishing in over a year and I'm looking forward to it. I'll post a report tomorrow

For anyone who hasn't fished this mark but is intrested its a very hard spot to get on. First theirs the rope u use to get down the side of the cliff more like a hill I would say. Then a ladder. So the plan was to get a good sesh in today after 7 long cold blanks in a row. Set up 2 hrs before high tide and then notice i forgot my cigs so know i where gunna leave before high tide as i already needed one. After spending most of the summer ill and been really down with my ptsd ill be back to fishing tomorrow. As I couldn't get much for bait ill be on alaxandra lock gate at low tide and dropping my shrimp trap loaded with macky heads once I have collected a lot of shrimp moving up to KG car park fishin...

i totally understand why you feel the way you do Martyn. As for the fishing as with most hobbies and intrests you have good times and bad. The last 3 or 4 times i have fish the humber i havent had much luck. Also if your worried about fishing alone at Spurn we live locally to each otheir we can help...
