the ship & lobster? you'll catch just about everything along there, & sometimes nothing at all !! ;)

pop in there, they have a fishing club that meets there, they'll give you up to date info on whats coming out.

this is mostly the sewers at the upper reaches of the tidal thames i believe. between richmond & putney. when they get or just expect heavy rain they dump the sewage to prevent the sewers backing up & discharging into the streets or houses. & they have a licence to do so! which makes it all the more...

I had one of the original beach buddies & it served me well for years. from what ive seen the new versions produced by the likes of ron thompson will last you a few winters on the beach, but.............!!! they are a real pain in the butt to carry! with the curved tops to the poles they always seem...

safest bet is to buy one anyway, if they can see you`re obviously targetting sea-fish you should be ok without one. but it only takes one idiot bailiff for you to end up with a court summons to prove your innocence! even if you`re targetting mullet, i would advise you to carry a rod licence, it will...

the 1st fish was 3hrs before high water, we saw another fish caught just after high water, & my little one came at slack water a couple of hours after high water.
a case of patience rather than timing!
