Yes the flounders have been effected by the Seals.
I've yet to see any quantitative evidence to show that seals are to blame.

Conjecture?

The harbour has not fished well since the unexplained demise of eels and flounders.
School bass present all year, but April - Nov best.

In a match, don't you have a 'game plan'?

No good taking every bait under the sun (snow) this time of year.
Stick to 3 small worm baits and at least weigh in most times.

Fish haphazardly and you'll catch haphazardly.

First to shake off winter will be early plaice.
Given the right weather, first show on South Parade Pier; then by mid-March from St George's Rd.
