Just heading in now. Sea is a touch choppy. Me and two others in a pleasure craft. Only been out a few hours and what a day for the macky badgers, if that's your thing. Just had a call to get a run out tomorrow morning on the boat.
Probably the last boat trip of the year, can't wait.
Even a bad days fishing beats a good days working.

Wow....no fishing in Ireland since late 2012

I know I have no room to talk, as haven't been about in an absolute age. Have managed very few trips out, maybe 6/8 in the last two years, thanks to the bleeding recession. Any how, does no one fish any more? Especially since its getting a wee bit better round the Antrim coast, heard a few good repo...

Bit of a strange question, how is your fitness level?
Reason I ask is that I can point you in the direction of a few 'decent' spot I use now and again. But you need to be prepared for a wee bit of a hike.

Just what i was going to say keith, the only fresh fish is one thats caught n cooked the same day. Must totally agree Mick, on a few occasions we caught a few mackie and coalie and had them dipped in flour and in the frying pan within 5 mins of catch, whilst still fishin. The flavour..................
