Bridlington

Fished South Pier.

Tuesday and Wednesday, very windy sea choppy, Flounders, Dabs, Plaice and Rockling.

Thursday a little wind so calm sea, fish as above, also Whiting, Pollock and Colefish

About the Weather, sad to say the wind went around to NW and bites close to pier dried up. :(( And I remember last year at the Quay, fished ok when the wind came from Marchwood (West) but when from the Park (North West) the bites dried up. :(( As I said the chap was casting way out at least 50 yards...

Ok, so I caught a tiny pout and used it as live bait,,, and nothing else. but as we were thinking of packing at 4' oclock, a chap turned up casted in to the wake of the out going ferry, and got a bite that nearly pulled the rod over the safety fence, yes it was large Bass, about 1kg, Leonard
