North Fambridge

Nipped out today for a quick fish at North Fambridge 1 hr before high tide. Lovely afternoon, a couple of nibbles didnt amount to anything.. But the strangest thing was a guy walking along the river in a bathrobe and what looked like a cosmetic bag, bare legs, bare footed.. Quite a well spoken chap,...

Fished for a few hours today and may as well fished the dead sea. Nice weather a little peace and quite but not even a nibble.

The reports are few and far between.. Is anyone catching anything local of late?

It's been really quite there the last few trips with only a few light taps resulting in a couple of very small whiting. I'm hoping for another try soon. Will let you know.

Well done on the Whiting, I've blanked at Holliwell the last couple of trips.. I was going to try again in the next few days but wondered if the rain may keep them in deeper water.

Is anyone fishing?

Any reports in the Southend area, the crouch estuary has been dead on my last two trips. it's all gone very quite!

Can't remember where I heard but some Chinese guys at Southend were supposed to be catching well.
