HI,,will be venturing out for only second time since mishap at Hornsea. Idea is to fish above venue friday morning. And try to get confidence back.,,, and if all goes well will be there on new yrs day , if weather allows it. So if anyone off forum wants to come down, be welcome. Martyn

TY for offers of help and advice. I will take them up, but first i need to go out and get a good pair of boots and a good weather/water proof suit. Dont think the bib and brace and smocktop i have are suitable for winter fishing.

HI,, been a while since i put report up. Fished KGD today, weather sunny cool and very breezy. Many thanks to ingram for shrimps , had 1 flattie on frozen worms and squid ,, and 5 flatties on shrimps. Was there from 6.30am till 12.30pm. will be back there again either in morning or tuesday.

Am out this friday, not sure where, ie spurn, withernsea or hornsea,, only to get away from tele and the big mis_match. Anyone else out in this areas at all? I know h/t is mid afternoon. so at mo not sure which is best place to go, any help from locals would be gratefull. martyn

Oh how i'd love to catch a thornie or a smoothie, having never caught either. and also catch a nice sized bass.
