dont think theirs any right or wrong amount to load on as long as its long enough to travel at least 6 turns around your spool, fishing a beach u may want the bare minmum on so just enough to travel 6 times round the spool, but if u fish quite a high pier / wall / cliff u might want longer, enough t...

love to go sat, depends on my hands tbh tho, got infected dermatitis from handling fishing bait and my hands r pretty f&cked up, ive got some steroid cream and antibiotics so hopefully will be sorted soon, plus my cars mot is due fri :(

hmmm dam shame m8, tbh blyth pier is something of a black hole for me, i can actualy say ive never caught anything off the pier, except sandeels and mackerel with feathers. and the odd super tiny dab
