Any tips for fishing walton pier?

It was my first experience of the infamous jetty and even though i have yet to pop my cherry there it was still enjoyable and will be giving it another go soon. Tropical is a total liar. Last time I counted on Saturday you had 3 codling all under 8oz (I weighed them), although I admit, if they hadn't have been genetically challenged, they would've weighed a little bit more...one had one eye, the other no tail and the smallest of the lot got chased by a whit...

The worrying thing is rottwelier is that he has had lessons! He only used to be able to cast 10 yards out - he has at least doubled that lol! Fished early hours sat morning till about 9am. Had 2 codling - 1 1/2 and 2lb, 4 whiting and a pout. My mate had 5 codling (biggest 1 1/2lb) 8 whiting. Heard a...

I live in grays but prefer fishing the kent side as where i fish is a bit deeper and you can virtually fish all day. Have fished Tilbury fort but found this snaggy also fished canvey right next to lobster smack but it was very shallow with hardly no tide. Have read reports bout the wharf - looks lik...

Hi there, Meathead here. Just wanted to warn you all that Brian (tropical Bri) is a total liar - I met him once in a tackle shop and he's not left me alone ever since. I later found out from another fisherman friend that he stalked them for a while too, making up stories about their friendship and t...
