Thanks for that info guys, maybe I'll change my mind next time I see one, did'nt help the fact that I'd not had a nibble in the two hours beforehand, but, as I said, I got lots of tips from friendly people and am now going to try some different approaches to the way I bait up and cast....cheers >:D<

You can also pop into Keith's Angling by the Seasalter/Chestfield roundabout, he's usually got a stock of freshly dug worm in the fridge, and advice where needed, possibly a bit more on the particle physics side as well..! :D :D I did'nt know about the angling shop in Mortimer Street, I think he may...

Can anyone offer any advice on fishing Rye Harbour inlet, either from the end where the bird reserve is or on the Camber side? :D Visited on a day out a while ago and wondered if it is worth a day's fishing?
