my gues is if the weather is nice you will get all the makeral bashers down there, i would head down to portland end nd walk to the right of the car park went down there last year had some nice triggers nd bream to rag worm all i used was a one hook clipped down

have hurd this been done a few times cast out a small baited hook with a larger one behind that unbaited hopefully a small fish will take the bait nd get hooked leave this out nd theres your live bait a big fish hopefully will take it all nd catch the lager top hook

simple float set up with some bread or even free line it do the trick unless they drive you crazy before that,

depends on how far your willing to travel? i fished newlyn beach in penzance couple of weeks back nd caught several decent sized wrasse,

what i would do is to take a small selection, some surfice poppers nd some deep diving if one aint working then you can switch, my guess if its deep water try some deep diving lure or even some jelly worms
