Fishing the S shelf Harwich and Felixstowe to night

Hi all, i have a m8 fishing from his boat on the s shelf Harwich and Felixstowe to night and he getting big whitting.No cod yet lol.

I was thinking that i would post some thing on here that's going on around harwich and filixstowe as there not much been posted on here at all lol.

hi there mate.sparsely tied clousers on size 4 would be a good start,no need to greese your line as far as i know.if fishing shallow water a floating line and mono leader will keep they fly in the upper reaches or flourocarb to keep the fly down..hope this helps ,sure more advice will fallow. mick....

Hi i am going fly fishing for Bass soon, and its my 1st time out there with a fly rod.Can you tell me what would be the best fly for the job and Do i greas the the fly line the first few feet of the leader so its float.

Good to see just one cod, well done m8. I have a m8 that is going 15 miles out and he getting no good numbers of cod at all maybe one a trip .........so its not looking to good at the mo for cod fishing with us out on the boats.

Out fishing at the week end and it was getting good lots of fish, but as soon as i had a fish on there was a a big old seal pulling them of as i was bring them in X( .You just cant win can you lol. X(

Hi , boat fished off shotley marina two weeks ago and caught 0ne cod around 3lb plus loads of whiting . I think when the herring go it will improve . Good one for getting that 3lb cod.I getting some big whiting now they are becoming good sport on small rods. lol but i am still putting the big rod w...

Launching from Holbrook will put you right in amongst the bass....problem is you can only launch/land 2/3 hours either side of the tide. I also heard you had to be a resident of Holbrook to have a mooring there as they have very limited space. Just let you know be for you have the R H S breathing d...
