TERMINAL TACKLE SIZES

If like me you buy your tackle on line and have trouble remembering and visualising the various sizes of terminal tackle, I recommend you log onto www.jannsnetcraft.com where you can download an actual size chart. It is very comprehensive and makes life a lot easier.

Drop Nets

Hi, does anyone know of a supplier of collapsable drop nets? I found one in America called Popnets, but although their website is still open, they have ceased trading

Travel Tubes

For ease of transportation I only use telescopic rods, but have always wondered how to protect them in transit. I have now found the answer. From Art Suppliers you can buy strong plastic, extendable tubes designed for protecting artwork. They are quite cheap to buy and make excellent rod tubes

I,ve bought all my lures and spinners on Ebay and found some real bargains, but don't go for the Buy It Now option. You get better deals going for the low start price bids and increasing the bid if required

Has anyone tried using boilies for sea fishing and what was the result. I'm thinking of trying them for flatties

Insurance

Does anyone know of a company offering third party liability insurance on an individual basis, for sea fishermen. To clarify, I would like insurance cover against third party injuries caused whilst shore fishing. Thanks

Lure Fishing

Novice fisherman, spinning with lures. Hi all, can anyone tell me if spinning with surface/diving lures during the colder months is likely to bring any results. Cheers

SEA BED INFO

:)) Searching the net for fishing locations and using various sources, I found that www.multimap.com provides very detailed ariel images of the coast line, with zoom facility and gives a good show of rock and reef locations on the sea bed
