Fishing meet Suffolk

How do people feel about having a meet in Suffolk?
I surpose we could allow the carrot crunchers from Norfolk to attend >:D<
Maybe not Orford island as some might only be able to attend for a short while.

I think the tackle shop in Aldeburgh has now closed.
If you can't find the tackle shop in Sax, it is behind the toilet block in the market car park

What you have to remember is a rod is just a way of getting the bait out to sea

Me and a mate went fishing to Aldeburgh a few years ago.
All you could see for miles down the shingle spit were tilley lamps.
We got out of the car just as 2 fishermen packed up, neeless to say we jumped in there spot, I would not have been able to walk the lenght of the dirty wall

I have used the d-vice a few times.
They are good for casting large baits, and it has not failed to release the bait anytime

Bass fishing gear

I am looking to try spinning next year for bass.
Will my abu 6500 do or is it better to buy a FS?
Also what are the basics of spinning,as I know nothing about it.
What do people consider the best rod lenght for it

thanks

The nearest tackle shop is http://www.saxangling.co.uk/
It seems to be fishing quite wel, although aldeburgh seems to be fishing better.
I have found dunwich to fish better at high tide, but others might disagree
