was at hurnbay and whistable on wednesday for the morning tide a got loads of mackrel, just used shiny feathers. if you know Hampton pier next to the boat club and pub. walk along the pier and cast out to the right toward the boat. calmer waters there. i will be there myself on thursday first tide. ...

Thanks eccles, I did spend one night out and again got nothing, I was using lugworm, squid and crab. Whitstable beach is as I have been told an oyster bed and that should be good for beach fishing.
