A Dogfish virgin no more

Location Weymouth Pleasure pier I decided to brave the elements and join my neighbour Steve on the pier at 7pm. We started fishing on the harbour side but after a while the winds made it very difficult to detect bites so we switched sides and had cover and more comfort. We both set up bottom rigs wi...

Waterside holiday park Bowleaze nr Weymouth.

We wouldn't stay anywhere else in the area as there is plenty to do and fine fishing on your door step.

Weymouth

Hi all

Just to say that Weymouth seems very hard going at the moment, not a lot has been caught lately and on the last few trips to the pier nothing happens until after dark and its still very slow.

Still its a night out with the lads, scenery and banter.

all the best

Rag account for Pollack also but I find Macky keeps the Wrasse away a bit. Must try and catch my first ever B...

Hi and welcome The only really idea I have is Preston beach weymouth, this depends on exactly how far you can go on foot, there is a carpark just across the main road and the beach is pebbles so can be hard going, the kids, wife and I fish there a lot especially lure fishing as it is very sandy with ...
