out on malakii 2 December

Going for a cod trip on Malaki in a couple of weeks time to try for an elusive cod or large Channel whiting anyone have any recent reports I can pass on to the others also have ordered Cuttle, Squid and mackerel- not sure if we will need lug however if anyone wants to give advice will be appreciated

Fished behind the campsite area just followed my nose after being given some advice from Lock stock and tackle, my first choice was going to be sealife centre but decided to try a new place. Incidentally the service at Lock stock and tackle was excellent and the bait top quality

fished easteney last nigh

First time fished Eastney last night 4pm - 10pm cracking session with whiting every cast, had a live bait rig out and about half past 7 had a clonker bite nearly pulled rod in result one mangled whiting fished missed the 6/0 above it will try again fish came at all ranges

brighton yesterday

fished the west arm yesterday wind was blowing strongly however managed to catch a bass just shy of 2lb a couple of mackeral and a small eel


stayed until 2200 LW however would lioke to fish it up to high water at night

bait was black lug and mackeral

went out a few miles on some hard ground that had a channel running through it about 5-6 miles out

a good spot for cod in winter so we were told

will find out in november when we have a trip booked

Recall reading a few years back about a daytime sole mark at Gravesend

thinking of trying for this elusive fish but would like a few pointers in the right direction also anywhere goodup there for some suitable bait to catch them

Fished the admiralty yesterday, thought about Dungeness but decided to avoid the crowds

had plenty of decent whiting best just over 2lb and dogfish

saw one cod conme out about 12lb possibly bigger, good to know there are a few about

may try again later this week

know what you mean but sometimes us anglers are a bit shy on letting everyone know where the fish are live in hope though
