What bait is working on the boats??

Ok so me and a few lads ( sushi too) are heading out on the boat from roker this weekend coming, my question is what baits/lures are working well lately. I've made a few rigs up with fake eels with 7/0 hooks an 60lb line. I've also been experimenting by putting glow sticks inside some fake squid and...

Sorry for taking my time to post my report but the reason is that there wasn't much to report. Caught nothing apart from a few sandeels and that wasn't untill first light. During the night bait went in and came out untouched. It was a good laugh tho. Also a little warning. I did catch a weaver fish ...

Hair rig

Ok I went fishing for a bit of crap over the weekend and had alot of fun and fish. When I was setting my gear up for the first time, I noticed the strange setup called the hair-rig. After a day of use I noticed that the hair rig was very good for hooking fish in the upper lip. Now here is a question...

What bait is best when baiting a live bait trap??

Ok so I'm going to be leaving a bait trap out the night before I go fishing and I was interested to know if anyone had any crazy ideas on what to use as bait. I've been told cat food is a good bait but is there anything else I could use???

Cheers

I wonder, I've got a canny idea again. Get some muscle and crush all the juice out of them and drop them into crab juice. Now thy would make a killer bait. I'm going to try that and let you all know.

Ok so here is an idea, you say worms soak up what they are frozen in so why don't you get some peeler crab juice, water it down alittle and then drop the worm into it and freeze them.
Just a crazy idea
