Dungeness-good session and new pb 21st/22nd

Me and my dad fished Dungeness on saturday afternoon/night. First we headed off to fish inbetween the lifeboat station and the boats 2 hours either side of high water. First 2 hours I had just caught whiting and a nice size doggie. Then just after High water I had a good pull down, so I sprung up fr...

Spinning for Bass the best place would probably be at Dungeness behind the the power station, down where the boils are at low tide. You could aslo try the entrance to to rye harbor at low tide from the camber side just be carefull at camber at low tide as the sea fog can come in thick and fast there...

Selsey West Beach report 03/08/09 with pics

Hi All. Me and my dad fished Selsey west beach on Monday night. I caught 5 hounds and lost 3, I only weighed one of them as I knew none of them were doubles. The one I weighed was 7lb but I had another one which was between 8lb-9lb I reckon. I kept one of my hounds, as they are lovely to eat and I p...

Dungeness 25/07/09

Well originally we was going to go Selsey for the hounds but the weather didn't look too good so we went to Dungeness instead, well I made the wrong decision as apparently quite a few hounds got caught that night, anyway. We got to Dungeness, behind the PowerStation and set up it was quite rough so ...

Sorry I didn't know, I have now deleted it. I would use the auction at the bottom of the home page but I'm not old enough to register as I'm only 15.

Dungeness, but where?

Well I was going to go selsey this weekend, but looking at the weather its going to be windy most of the week down there then dropping off saturday then picking back up, so I don't think it will drop off that much on saturday. Pluss with the spring tides it will be quite weedy down there, so my gut ...

Hi mate, selsey west beach is the best place to go for smoothhounds (one of the best in the country I reckon) fish it at night on the last 3 hours of the tide coming in. Using peeler crab on a 3/0 pulley rig, presented at 80yds+ as the for the Bill and east beach tim will know more about that than m...

Nice report, and as for the the addy well what can you expect its summer, of corse its going to be packed full of rude feather chuckers, But at the end of the day the wall makes more money when theres more people fishing there so nothing will probably get done about it because these days most are ab...

Hi mate when I caught my sole I didn't bother filleting it I just rapped it whole in tin-foil then put it in the oven for 15-20mins, I do the same for dabs aswell, as when the fish is cooked the meat comes off the bone very easy.
Cheers
