Well done again Mick, and to all those who attended/donated etc. Heres hoping you go from strengh to strengh, each year you will attract more attention, donations and so on. theres no reason why you shouldnt smash that total next year. I know you got a bit disheartened at the start, due to lack of r...

Hi, Filey brigg does fish at low tide, but the 2 hour before n after low are the general rule because of the tide. If you fish later you get cut off and have to use the escape ladders to get back off again. If you fish by the ladders, and dont mind waiting till about 3 hours after HW, you can get ba...

Tested the rod and 50lb braid, Great stuff, high winds choppy sea off Brid, hardly any movement in the rod tip. I will be getting some more for my other large reel. F/S never use it with a Multiplier for beach fishing. if it nests its impossible to untangle. :D :D

As Keith said, fish from piers etc, use a Sabiki, as also stated by Geoff, fish 3 to 5 feet from the wall, and just let your weight hit bottom, lift it up and down 2 ft or so about twice a second, Sandeels swim in shoals up and down, when you catch it goes quiet after a short time, you just keep on ...
