I have heard many stories, most of which are not true with a bit of luck. The have completly fenced off the breakwater, but people climb onto it from the west beach. I cant say I have heard about people conviscating the equipment, but I have heard of heavy fines. Bu its not exactly patrolled... The ...

One thing Ive notied that has worked is when I make my own rigs, I put about 5 small black floting beads on the length of line with my hook, that usually does the trick with a work or so, heavier baits im not sure about, but anything is worth a shot right?

Hi all, ok let me get this straight - a pier is on legs and allows water underneath it.
a breakwater is a solid wall stopping the sea.

What is the jetty? is that the floating platform things you see in harbours or is that something completly differnet.

I love my ron thompson shelter. I dont use it much as I do a lot of pier fishing but When I ever go beach fishing its a must have. I burn so easily... The wind is worse and it is so comforting knowing I have a bit of shelter from what mother nature wants to throw in my direction :D
