I didn't get mine to save my life, but you never know! Mine's lovely, it's like wearing a quilt & there's nowt better than being at the coast with the temperature down to 0 & still being toasty!

Thats excellent! Especially if like me you live 65 miles away. At least you can check before you go (or don't)
I find this one useful as well.

Report on Loch Sunart trip

Just come back from a week at Strontian, fished Ardamurchan last Monday & had 3 small pollock & a fairly big mackarel, but only fished for an hour as the missus finished her book! Tried Laudale jetty later in the week & had 11 mackarel & about 6 more small pollack. Everyone I spoke to was doing well...

Bit late as our computer's been off. Tuesday gone we went out of Hartlepool on the 'Famous', 5 in our group with another 4 fishing plus the 3 crew who were fishing/helping with gaffing & tangles etc. Decent day all round really, excellent crew who were very friendly & knowledgable. Plenty of fish ca...

Lots of good marks on the Durham coast Christian, as far as piers go there's Roker pier at the North end of Sunderland, or you could go down to Hartlepool just North of the river Tees. The trouble is, if your'e in a car, be careful where you leave it. her Majesty's Prison Service have some very good...

I know where there's one that's so good I had to go & buy a garden fork from the nearest DIY shop cos I found it by accident on holiday, & there's a great mussel bed nearby too!
I'll be going there in 3 weeks time.

I could tell you, but then I'd have to kill you.

Simple. Get on a boat, go about 10 miles off Hartlepool (or to the nearsest wreck even) drop a big pirk with a bit of mackarel on a treble hook over the side & 'hey presto', Ling.

Walk down the pier & fish straight off the end, to the left a bit maybe. There's a slim chance I'll be there tomorrow, but not the weekend cos of work. Try razor, lug, squid or mackerel, & you don't ned to cast 200 yards either, seeing as your'e already a 1/4 of a mile out to sea! Be careful as you ...

Steetleys this afty.

Due to work commitments we didn't get to Hartlepool till about 2. Called at the Friaridge Tackle shop to see Chas & get some bait ( he's not well you know, had a snotty nose for ages, coughing & spluttering like a Cortina I had in the 80's) Anyway the worms were good & so were the razor. Got on Stee...
