Website speed

Mrix & Co....

have noticed a definite reduction in the speed of this website in recent weeks, perhaps months. Perhaps the increased membership?

Anyone else noticed?

Just thought I'd mention it.

Anyone for boat fishing Monday, or have spare spaces Monday?

I really fancy a boat trip Monday, somewhere up east coast (Suffolk/Essex) or Kent, Sussex. Anyone got any spare places Monday or fancy joining me if I can book anything up?

You can try Stuart on Predator. He is a smahing skipper with a cracking boat out of Essex Marina. 07958664602. Tell him Darren gave you his details. Not sure whether he'd like or be able to take so many youngsters but you can certainly try. Never met a nicer skipper. Tea and Bacon Butts included!!

Which line to go for?

Guys, I have just bought myself a Daiwa 7HT Mag to go with my 13ft Daiwa Sandstorm rod. I want to get some reliable, reasonably thin, coloured line for the new reel. I would like something reliable as I'm getting some casting lessons and will be giving it some stick hopefully. Your advice and though...

Would love those details mate, thanks. How many lessons would you personally think are necessary? How long is each lesson?

I'll PM you very soon, as soon as the weather looks like being half decent and the fishings OK, and we'll sort out that beer-fishing trip. Luvely

The guy's talking from a high-end caster point of view, and I think it's fair to say that any pro would not use it for optimum distance. However, it seems ideal for the semi-serious pleasure angler who wants to learn t...
