This means that i can't fail to catch but makes catching other species more difficult :? Tight ...

yes a rod rated 4-8 oz can only take up to 8oz but some cheap rods with 8oz on them feel like they will snap and 8oz with a large bait may be a little too much for the rod to cope with. Most of the time i use 4-6oz for fishing depending on conditions and some rods feel beter with a lighter weight th...

Also if you can get one purchase a stand of some kind like a tripod or a simple beach stick(pushes in sand and rod sits in a cup)for fishing off the beach This will stop arm ache and help spot bites on the rod tip(holding the line and blank can also help pick up bites) This leaves you free to bait u...

Me if i was only able to afford one reel i would buy a pen 525 super mag or 535 mag as these are good on most types of beaches from rocks to sand and has big gears on the handle so less likely to sheer the gears when fishing over weed etc(the 535 might even do some light boat work) If you only fish ...

I have made new rigs with smaller hooks in an atempt to hook the fish. 8) It is the bass and not crabs taking the b...

mine is the multi version and the rings keep popping out or chip easy(can't be the leader knot as it is small and the same reel + knot does not pop the greys rod or my old mitchell rod) I have replaced all the rings on the top section and have had no trouble since and have to say it is a good rod(my...
