Hi guys
I hope you are all well. I was thinking it was time to replace my old Daiwa opus 5500 reels and I was looking for some suggestions. I don’t really want to spend any more than a £100 each on them.
Thanks
Phil

Selsey east beach
Hi guys I had a go at east beach last night. I fish until an hour before high tide. I was hopping to stay longer but my young son was getting tired. Using sand eel, squid and rag worm for bait. I managed a silver eel, small conger of around 1.5ib and a couple of black bream around 10cm. I think the ...

Re: Sole
Thanks for the advice Eccles.
I’m down that way all next. I think all the tides next week are neaps. So I’ll be definitely giving it ago.
Cheers

Re: Keeping bait alive.
I’ve never had much luck keeping them alive for more that 24hrs in the fridge. I usually have them in a traditional coarse fishing bait box.
Thanks

Re: Sole
Hi Eccles
What sort of rigs do you use. I’ve been reading a few blogs that suggest making sure your bait doesn’t move around. The use of extra weights on the snoods to keep them anchored. I was wondering what your experience was.
Thanks
Phil

Sole
Hi guys
I was thinking about trying to catch some sole when I’m down at selsey in a week. What types of rigs and bait would you recommend.
Thanks

Sorry it’s been so long
Hi guys
Sorry I’ve not been around for a long time. I’ve not been fishing for around 18 months either.
I’m off down to the whitterings for a few weeks soon, so I’ll keep you all updated.
Hopefully I’ll remember what to do.
Thanks
Phil

Chesil beach (Abbottsbury)
Hi guys
I fished chesil beach at Abbottsbury for plaice last Sunday. We fished the whole tide in from 12:00 to 8:00. Unfortunately I didn't catch my mate had a dab around 10ozs. We were using rag and squid bait.
It was a lovely day though
Best wishes
