all i had was a very small sea bream, have had bigger on a single pinkie to be honest, but it was a lovely sunny day and i topped up the tan, a group of blokes next to me didnt have much either and they were there overnight and all the day, but they seemed to be enjoying themselves as well, amazing ...
as i really want to catch my first fish from the beach i am going out tonight, weather looks pretty bad, but i got a shelter and sod it, i off for the week so intend to go as much as possible, think i will go by eastoke on hayling tonight and maybe eastney tommorow

dont know a lot myself mate, but would suggest use the beach at hayling and cast into the sea there is a lot of room, if not could you use havant park and try to hit the dogs as they are doing there buiseness on cricket pitch
ok my first bit of beach fishing, didnt start too well slept in, by the time i got to eastoke it was close to high tide, took me ages to set up had bought bait from paiges tackle shop this is when i found out the bait bites, but had sandeel on one hook rag worm on the other, first cast i forgot the ...
was goin to fish in the day as there is a high tide about 1 and weather looks good, cant go sunday as workin but i work on hayling at sandy point so where are you fishing i finish at ten so would pop along and see you and ask a few questions if you dont mind
anything that swims mate, dont think i am good enough to target a particular species, so found some very basic beach rig and going to use sandeel on one and lug worm on the other both tipped with squid i honestly dont expect to catch on my first trip but i am hoping to learn a lot
