If you fish further up past the fence behind makro the wall drops off straight after the fence... so you can pull fish straight up.

That far up though you'll have to leave your car, but literally only for 20 yds.

Great to see your catching. If you need an easy session, which is physically easier and less demanding, have a crack at Makro area. You can pretty much just fish from your car, keeping warm and out of the elements, and you wont be carrying your gear long distances. I'm sure you're familiar with the ...

River Humber! A few of mine this year (with pictures)

You wanted some pics, see below. My cod count this season from the Humber is already at 14. More to come!! All the below were caught on unwashed squid (mostly) and mussel (3 biggest). All the fish below are above 3lb, the biggest weighing 7lb. I've also added a picture of some shrimp i had in my net...

Had a busy few weeks and with all this rain i'm not sure the river will be fishing well at the minute???

Might make my way to the coast instead this weekend.

not a lot of people leaving reports so here's how i did...

fished victoria dock 2 hours up and 3 hours down, between the 2 of us we had 6 whiting, 4 flatties (1 quite big) and a small codling.

plenty of whiting coming out past couple of weeks but i havent seen any sizeable cod yet

where are the bass getting caught? i might be going this weekend,
what is the best bait to catch bass, i've got some squid in the freezer, or would i be best with lug?

was doing really well before christmas, plenty of whiting and few cod, just seems to have dried up now. i dont think the two inconsiderate guys at hornsea helped though when they decided to jet ski in front of where we were fishing!!!!! X( X( we decided it was a lost cause and packed up after that.

where have all the fish gone?

anyone else in the area having the same luck as me?
last 4 fishing trips and i have caught next to nothing.

i've fished at paull, makro and hornsea and the best i've managed lately is a couple of rockling and flatties. am i doing something wrong lol
