hi cod, Fished sandgate this week, seems to be the usual dabs, pout, whiting and the odd doggie. General for the area at the moment. Fished the addy on Sat. big pouting whiting and dogies. There were a couple of small codling reported and two rods up from me landed a 10lb 13oz thornback. The best bi...

Sandwich/Dungie 28/30
After a planned trip to the addy in dover was Blown out I moved on to sanwich and a bit of shelter from 45mph winds. Three of us had a rod each ended the night with a couple of doggies and a few whiting, only 3 sizeable. Today I took my son to Dungie to try his new reel, still quite breezy good colo...

hi Anywhere along Princes Parade is about the same, there are rocks the the east of the garage at the end. The shelter used to be a hot spot but has been a bit snaggy of late on anything over 60 yrds out. At the moment it's small whitting, pout or if your lucky a sole or doggie. There have been some...

Hi Unlucky on the blank, not fished Hastings, but here on the south coast 7.5 tide is quite high. I've not seen one much above 8. I did notice on a recent trip to cornwall that they have 11 or 12 as a high. Not much here in Folkestone at the moment, Mackeral during the daylight and doggies and pout ...

Spent 8 hrs here with wife and kids, 6 rods between us. Set up behind the power station about 10 this morning with ht at 11,15. We all caught whitting an dabs from the start although it did slow for a bit after lunch, it picked up just before low water with me pulling in a 1lb 12oz bass. Ended the d...

Folkestone pier
Spent the afternoon on a wind swept pier, main reason was to restock the freezer with mackeral for bait. ended up with 8 and a suprise herring. Not loads being caught considering the number of people fishing, no tackle loss or snags even when left to hit the bottom. It was dragged the same time as d...

Hi Macer you can fish at low water but it's only about ten ft deep at the wall, pollack may be about not sure with the wrasse. You may be lucky and find the odd early bass. I have heard reports that mackeral have been caught from the addy in dover. (2 different reports). If you go let us know how it...
