Why do you need a brake?

Just learn to control your thumb and with practice you should not have any problems.

I use Penn Squidders without the fins and dont have any problems.

Fished the ebbing tide from the flood, landed many fish.

But of size and keepable were

4 Cod
2 Whiting
1 Bass

and many smaller whiting were put back.

Fished for 3 hours . The last hour of ebb and first two of flood.

2 Codling undersize
11 Whiting undersize
1 Whiting of size.

Tide was very strong when flooding rendering fishing impossible for a while.

Hi I tend to always have a disgorger, i use aliuminum; however i fid that a decent pair of forceps are usefull too. I have had a lot of Dabs deep hooked, and if the fish is of a size to keep i will always kill them before removing the hook, just a bit kinder i think. Also worth noting is untill rece...
