fished the pier on thursday had a good day caught 32 fish between us whiting dabs and rockling, a lot of people fishing for the cod but none where caught, almost all our fish where caught on the incoming tide and only a few on the ebb. it seems to have gone a little quiet here no posts for the thame...

Fished the sea wall at Stanford on Sunday nice afternoon tide started fishing about 12 a bit slow had some real rod bender bites, then about an hour from high tide the whiting showed making two rods a hand full, some sizeable some smaller but great sport, this kept going until we ran out of bait. you should think about trying stanford le hope its fishing well at the mo last time i went there was four of us fishing and we had over thirty fish between us, bass, eels big ones and flounders all caught on lug and squid im just waiting for the later tides and im going again The bass varied in size...

Fished the pier on Sunday the fishing was a little slow but we had a few fish
we had

16 whiting
1 doggie about 2lb

saw a few skate caught 11lb, 7lb, 4lb and a couple of 2 pounders.

its a little tricky but here goes First you need to find rainbow lane (goggle maps) go to the bottom and park walk towards the railway line, cross over a turn right follow the path and you will come to a small lake turn right, up the bank and in front of you should be a grass point walk towards that...

got a few spare hours so went to the sea wall at stanford caught fish from the first cast and that's how it stayed right up to low water ended up with 20 fish in the end. 15 bass good plate size 3 flounders 2 eels. one thing I would say is that two of the flounders where covered in white growths all...

fished the late tide yesterday for a couple of hours had six good size bass and bites galore seems the thames is improving.

Off to walton pier next week as anyone got any reports on the fishing.

Fished the worlds in pub on friday hi tide a 14.30pm had a flounder and a small bass which was a surprise as the tide was ripping through there dragging my weights with it ,no matter what size i used.
