Sea Fishing

i max floatation suit 2 piece

hi all,ok this is the first reveiw i have written so bear with me lol.ok last winter past i decided to get into the hobbie of sea fishing and as i live in a fishing village-cove bay i am walking distance from the sea, well to put it in a finner context ;; it was winter and the brass was getting the better of the monkey !! and with almost falling off the cliff into the sea i decided to get a floatation suit,it had to be 2 piece becasue of summer days fishing i could just use the bib and brace which is also valid as a floatation device itself.so after looking around i finally got the IMAX 2 piece which sells for around £99.this suit has great visable markings with bright orange sleaves and on the bib and brace on the legs are bright orange patches also.i am a big lad so i had to send back the xl one cos bib and brace was a bit tight i couldnt sit down lol and got ;; the xxl one which was a better fit, also on the jacket is a small pouch with a safety whistle on a long piece of thin orange rope.theres 2 pockets on the lower part of jacket with velcro fastners and 2 chest pockest, these are great for keeping the hands warm as they are fully linned with cotton.the colar is also great as its also lined with cotton and when zipped up is extreamly snug.the hood is also linned and has a thin wire strip around the edge so u can put the peak into the shape u want and it will stay there, also there is reflective strips on the hood and on the chest and arms of the jacket and there is neopreme sealing the cuffs of the jacket which is comfortable and dosent bother you at all.at the bottom of jacket is a crotch strap at either side which goes around the leg and clips into the holder to keep the jaket pinnned down, also theres a very sturdy belt that goes around the middle of jacket and is finishe with a solid plastic clip system, they say this belt is solid anuff to haul you up with.ok bib and brace is very snug with well padded inners, the shoulder straps i think are tight woven nylon with solid plastic adjusters that dont seem to slip.this is zipped up the front with a sturdy zip and covered with a velcro fastned flap, you have 1 pouches at chest hight ;; and a long pocket on each side of leg.dont worry if legs are a little bit too long as there are velcro fastning straps at the bottom.all in all this is a very very warm suit and certainly keeped me dry in the rain.OK HERES THE COMPLAINTS ok after just a few months use i found the velcro on the pockets to have worn out and are not fastning good at all also the big velcro strap on jacket the stitching has come out and the strip is falling off.the bottom of the bib and brace the edges around the hemm must have been rubbing against my boots and has all worn away into a hole.but with bigger dismay there are places were the stitching is coming out and just below the zipp and flap on trousers there is actually a hole apearing cos of stiching coming away and is now about a 3-4 inch hole, along with stitching on the arms coming out, before you say it yes after paying that kind of money i did look after my suit with care but remember its not had a lot of use,any way it has been sent back to dealers and should recieve new one this week.if haooens again ill just take my money back, this has slightly ruined my feelings about imax suits, maybe it was just a bad one but you never know, its a real shame cos it is such a warm and comfy suit.ok good luck and tight lines all thankskevin ,cove bay, aberdeen scotland
