Greys SeaSpin

Bought a couple of these a year ago for about £80 each.

It's an 11ft long lure rod that comes in 3 pieces, easily fitting into a car boot, but losing absolutely nothing against a two piece.

Casting weight is rated 1-3oz and this really does cast exceptionally well for everything within that range, putting a good bend in the top section even with a 28g lure.

There is surprising amount of power, right down to the butt section,  making a decent sized fish good sport but controlable.

I use mine with a small 400g reel which makes an extremely light and well balanced setup, comfortable to have in constant use during a long session.

It has also been used for float and light ledger work and I couldn't really fault it for those either.

I'm pleased with the build quality - my 10& 11 year old boys get through rod rings like there's no tomorrow but these are still intact.

All in all a great rod, a bit expensive for a spinner but most people wouldn't blink about spending that much on a beachcaster.
