ABU 6500 C3 CT MAG - (THE ONE WITH GREEN PLATES)

This is the first multiplier I have ever used - followed the instructions it came with and only had a couple of birds nests (both on the first outing) which judging by posts elsewhere is pretty good. I don't really have anything other than a fixed spool to compare this to but would make the following observations. - after using for a couple of days I definitely prefer this to a fixed spool - absoluteley no problem whacking leads out reasonable distances without birds nests - it seems to lack some power, whilst this is only a small reel it could probably benefit from a larger handle to put some force into - the spool release button started to stick hard in the up position after a few days usage but all OK now Paid £63 for it from a large mail order co, so don't take any notice of the rrp. There is a newer 2007 model out but still plenty of the green ones so hope this review is of use to someone.
