ABU GRIP LOK

Hello all.recently i bought my new rod the imax 6 stroke 7 and at the same time i bought the abu grip lok sliding reel seat, which cost £13 but prices are diffrent from place to place(£10-£14).sizes available are-25.2mm with trigger,26.1mm with trigger,27.8 with trigger and another 25.2mm but without the trigger.these reel seats are very very good quality indeed and look and fell great.so after choosing the right size for your rod butt its simply a case of sliding the grip lok onto the rod thats it.the reel i used is the penn 525 gs i also tryed my fixed spool reel without any problems, the bottom of the reel seat with the trigger on it is made from rubber and is very very comfortable to grip when casting and your hand just molds into it giving not only a comfortable feel but gives you a very solid hold on things.i was worried about how solid it would grip but after placing my 525gs in the slot and screwing down the nut it gave a totaly solid hold and one thing to remember you dont have to screw it down really tight either, unscrewing the nut lets you slide the reel seat very smoothly up and down the butt without sticking-REMEMBER THOSE COASTERS HMMM!!-.i gave it a try the other day down off the rocks,i cought a few cod some 2-3lb and biggest 5-6lbs and it held solid and handled the snags great without moving once.this is definatly by far the most comfortable, solid and easy to move reel seat i have used, once i get my othe imax rod i will be buying another one, great great piece of kit, tight lines everyone.
