This is a fine book for anyone who is interested in long distance casting. John Holden writes in a precise and pleasing, easy to follow manor. He has endless advice and good tips on tackle and reels. I was given a copy of his first book, in hardback, and I was hooked (excuse the pun) on long distance casting with the conventional reel. This cd book has videos showing step by step pratice and casting techniques. His easy going manor allows you to learn the basics and advanced casting styles. Easy to refere to and watch time and time again to hone you skills and to see where you have gone wrong. It has a great price tag, which is good for anyone on a budget. This book is very well written and easy to navigate to get to the section you want quickly and easy. A great book to read during the winter months when stuck inside and dreaming of that long distance cast.
