Going to IOW in a couple of weeks to Bembridge .Anyone know of any good spots to try |

Try any where around the pier , a low tide reccy will show a few rock marks or fish holding areas . use rag or mackeral at low or high tide for bass - with a chance of a big one close in at night .
the estuary will through up bass / eel / flounders try . |

My nan lived in Bembridge, and as a kid I used to fish at the end of the lifeboat pier.
I used to colelct shrimps from the rock pools, and dig tiny rag with my plastic spade.
Every chuck was more or less guaranteed a wrasse, was great fun, and infact the place where I caught my first ever fish. |
