Go to www.google.com and download `google earth`it will allow you to see in any harbour around the world. Portsmouth harbour comes up quite well. I use it to locate the deeper channels in pompey harbour and bottle necks in haslar creek for the flatties and bass, its worked well for me, hope it helps your fishing too.
Let me know how you get on.

Getting yourself on the beach or venue an hour or so at slack water, befor you start to fish the mark your at is always best to root out any snags, gulleys, and petruding rocks that can be hot spots for holding and hiding fish.
This way you know where not to cast for loseing tackel and where to try and drop a bait in for the fish.
Always sratch around for a bit in different places of your venue,, hopefully picking out other fish that may be there  |
